Ms. Nakajima is planning a trip to London and has to reserve a room in a hotel for 3 nights. She decides to make the reservation by telephone from her home in Japan.

Clerk: When were you thinking of staying?

Clerk: Let me see. That would be 50 pounds, breakfast included.

Nakajima: Do the single rooms each have a private bathroom?

Clerk: Yes, they do.

Nakajima: And what's the nearest train station to your hotel?

Clerk: We're a few minutes walk from Victoria Station. It's quite a convenient location if you'd like to do some sightseeing.

Nakajima: That sounds fine. I'd like to book a single room for 3 nights, please. September 12, 13 and 14.

Clerk: Could you give me your full name, please?

Nakajima: Keiko Nakajima. That's K-E-I-K-O, then N-A-K-A-J-I-M-A.

Clerk: And can I have a contact number, please?

Nakajima: Yes, The code for Japan is 81, then 78-468-1357.

Clerk: So that's a single room for three nights; September 12, 13 and 14.

Nakajima: That's correct.

Clerk: Thank you very much for your reservation.
