Clerk: Good afternoon.

Imamura: Hello. I'm afraid I've lost my wallet. I think I left it somewhere in the station. I was wondering if anyone had found it and returned it.

Clerk: I see. Could you describe it?

Imamura: Pardon?

Clerk: What colour is it?

Imamura: Black.

Clerk: What's it made of?

Imamura: Leather.

Clerk: Where in the station do you think you left it?

Imamura: I'm not sure. Perhaps on one of the platform benches.

Clerk: Can you tell me what's in it?

Imamura: Credit cards, a notebook computer, and about $200 cash.

Clerk: When do you think you lost it?

Imamura: Earlier this morning, between 9 and 10 o'clock.

Clerk: Well, I'm afraid no wallets have been handed in so far today. Are you going to be in town long?

Imamura: I'm here for another two days.

Clerk: Could you give me your name and the name of your hotel?

Imamura: My name is Masayuki Imamura and I'm staying at the Metropolitan Hotel.

Clerk: I'll let you know if someone hands it in.

Imamura: Thank you.
