A formidable battleship,
bigger and with more armour and firepower than anything the world
had ever seen in 1942.
This picture is of
the Yamato. There was a sister ship, the Musashi.
The problem was that
the technology was
OBSOLETE, OUT OF DATE,
OLD FASHIONED.
The Imperial Navy did
not care....
They wanted their battleships
and they got them.
What
happened?
